Parents United for Return to School Celebrations

Throughout this COVID-19 lockdown it has been so hard on us all including our children. As a parent of a reception child I spent most of 2019 building my sons confidence up to go to ‘big school’ and with the uncertainty of when they will return it could prove to be another hurdle for some children to overcome when they return. That along with not being able to socialise with their friends or teachers it will all take its toll on our little ones.
Therefore, I wanted to try and get ALL parents to unite together to help raise funds for all schools in our area for a big party/celebration on their return to school and when safe to do so. The schools, their Parent Teacher Associations along with parents can then have input on what parties/celebrations they feel would be perfect for each location and will choose a suitable date in which to do it.
I know these are tough times for everyone but even if every parent in the Louth town and surrounding villages donated even £1 each it would raise a sufficient amount to give our children the welcome back they deserve and help boost moral for everyone.
Should you wish to kindly donate, simply write in the notes section which school you are a parent of and I will then ensure funds are split accordingly. This campaign will run until we receive a date of when our children will return to school and I will update you on the totals for each learning provider.

•Lacey Gardens Junior Academy
•East Wold CE Primary School
•St Bernard’s School
•North Cockerington C of E School

•North Somercotes C of E Primary School
•Donington on Bain Primary School
•Fulstow Primary School
