<div>This is the most severe case we have taken on since Mandy and Phil last year, and we are hoping for another miracle for her.
</div>

<div>She was seen dragging around her legs for about 2 weeks before anyone stepped in. A local woman finally took her in to a rural vet with limited equipment and no specialty experience.
</div>

<div>We were brought in to consult and have now taken full custody and responsibility for her. After x-raying her legs and seeing nothing obvious, we decided to move up to her spine. We were able to get in quickly with a spinal/neurology center. After multiple rounds of x-rays with contrast, her spine showed no traumatic injury whatsoever. A spinal tap determined she has an extremely rare bacterial infection in her spine.

<div><strong>We are now racing against the clock–either antibiotics will save her, or the infection will move higher up her body and she will not survive past the next few weeks.</strong>

<div>We are determined to at least give her a chance. Her bill has already reached $1,000 USD and we are just getting started.
</div>

<div>In addition to the infection in her spine, she is covered in infected ulcers from dragging herself around in the dirt for weeks.
</div>

<div>If she survives, she has a long road ahead and may be permanently disabled. But everyone who meets her agrees – she is a fighter, and she wants to live.
</div>
