Historic Barn destroyed by Fire

Donation protected
One week ago as the sun was rising at 6:11 in the morning, a  fire was discovered on the top of Paradise Hill Road .   An  8th  generation working  Farm -The  Gardininer Family homestead  almost  300 years old, according to the family cemetery located across the street, was destroyed by a fire.

The fire started in the corner of the garage and as Richard Gardinier tried extinguishing the fire with a garden hose, his  wife Pam frantically called 911. By the  Time the volunteer fire department arrived, they were overwhelmed.  At last, the Little Falls fire department, which was only 10 minutes away, was finally dispatched. But  by then the fire was completely out of control.  While the garage burned to the ground flames lept to the barn destroying it completely except for some crumbled metal roofing and  iron.  In addition, the house structure was badly damaged and a complete loss.

The unfortunate thing is they, they have no insurance.

So that is what has happened.
Now...This  is what  is needed.

You can never expect to rebuild a 200-year-old barn with big huge beams that can't even be found today. What was lost  cannot be replaced. However,  this is still a working farm with humble farmers growing crops.

1)  All the tools that were lost need to be replaced. Which falls  in the $20,000 range.

 2) The rebuilding of a barn to store farming equipment.
