Queridos amigos y familiares,

Con mucha tristeza compartimos que mi tío Christian Cordero falleció tras una dura lucha contra la leucemia. Aunque luchó con todas sus fuerzas, su cuerpo no pudo resistir los intensos tratamientos de quimioterapia y, lamentablemente, sus órganos dejaron de funcionar.

Christian se encontraba en Estados Unidos, pero la mayor parte de su familia —incluida su madre— está en Guatemala. Nuestro mayor deseo ahora es poder repatriar su cuerpo a Guatemala para que descanse en su tierra natal, rodeado de sus seres queridos.

Los gastos de traslado y funeral son muy altos, y por eso pedimos la ayuda de todos los que deseen y puedan colaborar. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, nos acerca más a cumplir este último deseo: darle a Christian Cordero un descanso digno junto a su familia.

Dear friends and family,

With deep sadness, we share that my uncle Christian Cordero has passed away after a hard battle with leukemia. Despite his strength and courage, his body could not withstand the chemotherapy treatments, and his organs eventually failed.

Christian was living in the United States, while most of his family —including his mother— is in Guatemala. Our greatest wish now is to repatriate his body to Guatemala, so that he may rest in his homeland surrounded by loved ones.

The costs of transportation and funeral arrangements are very high, and we are asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to fulfilling this last wish: to give Christian Cordero a dignified farewell in his home country.
