All "HEART" PaQ-Man

Our much loved, and 7-years-young dog PaQ-Man is very, very sick and my wife Alex and I are respectfully asking for financial assistance from family, friends, and pet lovers we’ve never met, to help us keep him with us as our young family grows.
It’s a cliché, but, these beautiful creatures we choose to share our lives with do become members of the family, and, although they’re not human, they stir the humanity in all of us when they fall ill.
Here are the specifics:
- Our little guy has a heart based tumor that is actively causing pericardial fluid to build up. Time is of the essence due to the fluid continuing to build up with only one certain eventuality – a very painful death from heart failure if we do not act quickly.
- Luckily the tumor itself is benign, so, if the fluid is removed he will have a fighting chance for at least another year and hopefully longer. If we do nothing he has 1 to 3 months to live.
- Diagnosing PaQ’s illness has cost us approximately $5,500. to date, with another $5,500 to go for the surgery itself which is our goal. We got pet insurance when he was 1 but the company is claiming his illness is a pre-existing condition due to his breed/age.
We depend on our pets so much for love, companionship and care … and I think you’ll agree that when they need us, it’s the right thing to do to do what we can to ease their pain and prolong their lives as long as is reasonably possible.
But there are some things in life you can’t do alone. For our family, this is one of those times. So……..whatever you can contribute to this life-saving effort will be eternally appreciated. Sincere and heart-felt thanks in advance for your support and prayers.
