03/11/20:
We're very sad to announce that Elpis didn't make it through the night.

I'm keeping this page open for the time being to track refunds to the kind souls that had donated towards her expected vet bill.

Dear Paphos Cat Lady supporters and friends,

Gaynor contacted me today to say that a cat had reappeared at one of her feeding stations after not seeing her for nearly a year!

We have no idea where this little lady has been, or what she has been through, but you can clearly see from the photos that she is in desperate need of lots of treatment and care.

She is now in the hands of Paphiakos vets and I am in contact with their vet, Ilse Krikke, who sent me these photos.

I have called the cat 'Elpis' after the Greek goddess who is the personification of spirit and hope.  It seemed rather apt.

I am asking for help to pay the vet's bill for 'Elpis'.  At this stage, we don't know the exact treatment she will need and the cost of that.  We will, of course, keep this page and Facebook updated with the details.

Gaynor is happy that Elpis seems to be eating well which is always a good sign!

We're a great believer in where there's hope, there's  a chance.  So any contribution you can make to the vet's bill would be so very much appreciated.
