Pandemic-Eviction Fund

Donation protected
This fund is set up in honor of a family who is in need of our communities support right now. They are a family of 5 who, for over a year, have not had a stable place to call home. They have struggled to survive while living out of their 2 cars with 4 children. One of the children is in high school and 3 are in elementary, the youngest being in kindergarten.

Over the last year the family has experienced hardships no child should ever live through. Living on the street due to financial hardships has left them without access to a shower, a bed, or a warm home cooked meal for weeks on end. These children were surrounded by drugs, prostitution, and violence on the nights they couldn't afford to stay in motels.

Their hardworking and dedicated single father has done everything within his power to support his family, but situations occurred that were out of his control, and he suffered loss of employment and medical coverage for his family.
As you can imagine, the pandemic arrived and worsened an already terrible situation for this family. As school closures began the children lost their access to have steady meals and a safe place to stay while their father worked. The pandemic also greatly affected their chance of gaining employment and even more so with being homeless and COVID restrictions.

After a long and over due wait they have been selected to take part in public housing! This is a victory in itself because they will now have a roof over their heads, but this family is in need of beds and some basic appliances and furniture.
As they prepare to finally move in to their new home we kindly ask for you to donate anything you can to support their home. We are attempting to raise enough funds to help furnish the new apartment they had been longing for and will now call home.

If you cannot donate to help this family in this new chapter of their lives, they would greatly appreciate a share on any social media platform. Please reach out to @wackyjackiiee on Instagram or text (818) [phone redacted] if you are able to donate furniture or appliances.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about this family and the deep struggle these children and their father have faced for over a year. God bless you all.
