"Pandemic Packs" for Homeless of Morgantown
Donation protected
Morgantown, WV has a homeless population of between 120-125 human beings, including many unaccompanied youth under the age of 18. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasingly cold weather, they face new and worsening challenges every day.
This project seeks to provide the homeless population of Morgantown with several boxes at various homeless hotspots with the necessary supplies needed to survive these troubling times. The type and amount of supplies will rely on the amount of donations received (100% of donations will go to supplies), but will hopefully include: face masks, hand sanitizer, vitamin supplements, scarves, gloves, hats, and single-use restaurant gift cards.
Additional pandemic supplies and any remaining supplies will be donated to the Bartlett House Homeless Shelter.
