Pandemic Babies

My wife and I gave birth to baby Declan prior to all of these social distancing guidelines.  We were extremely fortunate to have family around during his birth and shortly after.  I couldn't image it any other way.  We are now hearing from several of our friends, whom have a due date fast approaching, that they might not have the opportunity for family to be present during the birth.  Yes, even the father.  This is extremely saddening, and we can only imagine having to go through child birth as a separated family.  We were very fortunate.  My wife is an ER Nurse Practitioner and her mother works the labor and delivery at Onslow Memorial Hospital.  They are both very connected to the medical community and have shared how taxed the healthcare system is and the impact on families.   This GoFundMe page is created for all the #pandemicbabies who may need intensive care during this national emergency. 100% of the donations will go to the NICU in Wilmington and Jacksonville North Carolina.  We know contributing may be difficult during these uncertain times, but any little amount will be greatly appreciated.  Let's rally around all these little babies and thier families during their darkest moments.  We are keeping all these wonder babies and thier families in our thoughts and prayers.
