Aldo Francisco Yañez Garnica or "Panchis" as those who are close to him call him, is a person with a noble heart, honest, someone who has tons of love to spread, lots of dreams to fulfill, and someone who brings great joy to our lives. Right before turning 19 at the end of July, he graduated from the aviation crew course and his ultimate goal is to become a pilot.
Panchis loves playing basketball and watching soccer. He also likes to go out and spend time with friends and family.
At the age of four, his dad past away due to a brain aneurysm. At the age of fifteen Panchis was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis.
Few months after being diagnosed, his mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, with metastasis in stomach and intestines. Her health deteriorated quickly which led to her passing away in February of 2016.
Because of his condition, Panchis was later diagnosed with autoimmune diseases such us rheumatoid arthritis and autoimmune hepatitis.
In December of 2016 he traveled to Chile to get a more precise and specific diagnosis. After many tests the doctors came up with the diagnosis of Ulcerative colitis and Sclerosing Cholangitis (onset of cirrhosis with biliar tract obstruction) and due to the rapid pace of the diseases, a liver transplant is needed as soon as possible, at this moment he is number one on the list for Liver transplant in Bolivia (South Amercica), surgery is expected to be by the end of October.
The cost for the whole procedure is $90,000. Please help us raise this money to give Panchis back the opportunity to have a normal and healthy life. We greatly appreciate your donation. No contribution is too small.

Aldo Francisco Yañez Garnica o "Panchis" como le decimos cariñosamente, es una persona de corazón noble, honesto, que tiene mucho amor por compartir, muchos sueños por cumplir, y alguien que alegra nuestras vidas. Ahora con 19 años de edad, el pasado julio se graduó de tripulante de aviación y su deseo es ser piloto en el futuro. Le encanta jugar basquetbol y ver un buen partido de fútbol. También le gusta salir y pasar el rato con sus amigos y seres queridos.
A los 4 años de edad Panchis perdió a su papá por un aneurisma cerebral. A la edad de 15 años enfermo con una Colitis Ulcerosa.
Al poco tiempo, su mamá enfermo con cáncer de ovario, con metástasis en estómago e intestinos, deteriorándose su salud muy rápidamente hasta terminar su vida en febrero de 2016.
Paralelamente a la colitis ulcerosa se desarrollaron en Panchis enfermedades autoinmune como artritis reumatoidea y hepatitis autoinmune.
En diciembre del 2016 Panchis fue a Chile para un diagnóstico más acertado. Luego de muchos estudios determinaron su enfermedad: COLITIS ULCEROSA y COLIANGITIS ESCLEROSANTE (inicio de cirrosis con taponeamiento de vias biliares) y por el proceso rapido de la enfermedad, de urgencia se necesita un transplante de hígado, en este momento se encuentra como numero uno en la lista de transplante de higado en Bolivia, la cirugia esta planificada a realizarse a finales del siguiente mes de Octubre.
El costo del transplante es de $90,000. Por favor ayúdanos a recaudar este monto para darle a Panchis la oportunidad de tener una vida normal y con salud. Cualquier contribución será profundamente agradecida y de mucha ayuda!
