Dear Community,
As some of you may have heard, our dear friend Pam Dalton was diagnosed with an advanced form of breast cancer this past winter. The prognosis was very serious; the cancer had metastasized and a tumor was also discovered on her skull. The first few months were very challenging as Pam and those closest to her waited for news and tried to figure out how to move forward in a positive, grounded, clear and informed manner.
Pam has stayed positive and committed to holistic cancer treatment. Under the guidance of her Anthroposphical doctor she began a treatment plan with an oncologist in Albany, had the tumor on her skull removed and began weekly iscador and therapeutic eurythmy treatments.
Six months of treatments has produced very positive results! The tumor in her breast has shrunk by half and the cancer hasn’t spread further. We believe her alternative treatments and tenacious spirit are at the heart of these amazing results. Unfortunately, these costly treatments are not covered by health insurance. Pam’s ability to work and make a living has been compromised by her illness and some medical debts have accrued. In addition, affording the continuance of these treatments is creating further stress and anxiety.
Many of you have asked how you can help. Answering this call has been a challenge because it is extremely difficult for Pam to ask for help. It is clear now though, that in order for Pam to continue receiving alternative treatments, she needs some financial support. This is a concrete and vital need. This is a way that you can support Pam at this time. Please consider donating to help cover the debt that she has accrued and to make possible the continuance of her treatments.
