Pam's Chemo Journey

Donation protected
About 2 months ago now my Mom, Pam noticed a lump in her right groin area. She really didnt think much of it but went to a local hospital to get it checked out. They weren't too concerned and sent her home on antibiotics and said to follow up with a doctor. I ended up taking her to Morristown 2 days later and they said that it was a mass that needed to come out an be biopsied. Well long story short June 26th she had the lump taken out and about a week and a half later the surgeon called and all she heard him say was lymphoma and highly curable and that was it. Thus started our journey of lots of doctors appointments and tests and scans  and blood work and more biopsies. Well it turns out that she has Stage 1 B-cell Lympoma and it is only located in the area where the lump was removed (YAY!!) She began chemo on Tuesday August 1st and since then it has kind of been a down hill decline. She is not taking to the chemo very well and has been having lots of side effects, very tired, low energy level, not wanting to eat much. She was even hospitalized with an infection due to her white cell count dropping to zero. She is currently staying with my Uncle and Aunt in the apartment at their house. Obviously at the moment she is not able to work and we are not sure when she will be able to return to work. So for the time being it is just me and my Dad bringing in money to pay for food for us and my 4 year old daughter as well as to pay the rent and other house hold bills. We are not normally the type of people who ask for help but this time it is needed. Alot of you know Pam through bowling and I'm sure you all miss her just as she tells me she misses you all. So any small amount you can provide would be greatly appreciated. We are also in need of gas cards because there will be alot of traveling back and forth to the hospital once radiation starts. If you would like to donated a gas card it can be dropped off at Sparta Lanes with a note for either me or Tommy.  Thank you all so much for your kindness and concern that you have already shown my Mom, it really makes me realize how truly loved she is at her place of work as well by our family.
