How did 2016 become 2017 so quickly?
All I keep thinking is the weight of everything inbetween. The responsibilites of my daughter, our home, our lives. This year has brought along with it many financial and health changes. As money was being used to cover one challange, there was another to meet me right around the corner like an endless wave with no time to breathe. Finding the cost for one of my daughter Ashley's medical needs to be over $40,000 was a hard reality. With myself in and out of doctor offices and hospitals with no answers, but bills to show that I was seen. While in our own home our washer, dish washer, microwave, and kitchen tile broke, and bathroom plumbing issues. As well as the outside of our home needing a huge hug of paint and repair. Now I find myself in a position of humility, vulnerability as I sat before the Lord in my own place of wressling. How did I get here? What do I do? Both a good friend and my daughter suggested I reach out to you. I have no way of paying my property taxes this year, this is very hard for me to say. I've gone to the board and they felt the amount that was given to me was fair despite the conditions of my home. I'm in need of your help, I'm not able to do this without you. I'm to have this amount to the Tax Assessor by January 31st.
