Pamela’s Lemtrada Fund (MS)

In 2014 Pamela was told she had 2 strokes, based on MRI results showing lesions on her brain after she experienced left sided weakness. 
In fact, Pamela was in the early stages of MS and was not diagnosed until very recently. 
The outcome of treatment for MS depends on how early treatment begins. We are already nearly 3 years behind, due to missing the diagnosis in 2014. 
Now unable to work or drive, Pamela needs the “Gold Standard” treatment for this potentially debilitating disease; Lemtrada. The sooner the better. 
The Province of BC does not pay for Lemtrada. One of only 4 provinces in Canada that does not fund this life-saving treatment.
So in order to stop her disease from rendering her incapable of looking after herself and her busy little 2 year old, we must raise the money ourselves. 
One vial of Lemtrada is $12,000. Pamela will need 5 vials, immediately.   Next year she will need 3 more. 
This important medication is well known for helping MS patients achieve remission and full lives!  We want a full life for Pamela.
