<div>This is Karen Casey Smith and Pamela Demarco is my dearest friend. We met in college and have been friends ever since.

<div>Pam is the most empathetic, selfless and hard working person I have ever known.  She always put others before herself, both family and friends.  Not only was Pam a supportive friend, she was a loving wife and mother.  Despite the challenges of raising 4 children, and having a child with disabilities, she always worked hard to support her family and create fun memories.  When her oldest son Aidan was going to college in CA, she drove out with her family to be part of his college experience.  After arriving and settling Aidan in his dorm, she flew back to Boston to get her cancer treatment, only to fly back to CA to join her family for the long road trip back home.  This story captures Pam's spirit and commitment to her family.

<div>After battling this disease for a couple years, on January 9th, Pam died peacefully at home, surrounded by her husband Brian and children.
