Pam Martin Superwoman

As most of you know, Pam has been caring for her mom for many years. Recently, her hospice team shared that COPD and Congestive Heart Failure have taken center stage in her mom's condition and both diseases are progressing quickly.  Lewy Body dementia has been the presenting issue for months and very difficult to navigate.  The other two diseases are terminal and the hospice team thinks she could be seeing end stage progression. Pam has been attempting to get things in order for long term care, but the medicaid eligibility issues, plus out-of-pocket expenses, have made Pam's situation unmanageable. While she hopes to transition her mom to  long term care June 1, daily care expenses and the cost of first month long term care services prior to reimbursement total more that $7000.  
     Those of us who have been been fortunate enough to feel  Pam's love and generosity know that being on the receiving end of support is a new experience for her. Let's please help her become accustomed to accepting the generosity she has modeled for all of us for so long!
