<div>My daughter, Lisa Atkinson, who grew up in Santa Monica, lost her entire home and neighborhood in the Palisades fire. Everything that was at her home is ash and rubble. Dishes, pictures, clothes, books, bike, her original oil and acrylic paintings and all supplies-even her beautiful beloved succulent garden have all been destroyed.

<div>Her hillside had been deemed "indefensible" by the insurance company, who had canceled her, making this especially troublesome.
