Paletero Ernesto - Amarillo TX

I have decided to create a Go Fund Me for our local Paletero who many of us look up to due to his age and is still putting in work to put bread on his family table.   He never misses to come by my mothers’ store to offer his delicious paletas, always smiling and talking a little about himself.   It breaks our heart that he has not had a break and is not resting when needed. He came in 2 weeks ago talking about how his health has deteriorated and is now paying for hospital bills. He had 8 children who he sometimes talks to over the phone but he says its very rare, none of them are present in his life. Although one of them is 18 years old and lives with him and his wife, but they fully depend on him.   His name is Ernesto Sanchez he is 86 yrs old, born in Ojinaga Chihuahua but resides here in Amarillo Tx. He often Goes back to Visit his wife and daughter who reside in Hidalgo de Parral Mx. He did comment that when he goes back to Mx he also works out there; in whatever it may be.   Let’s pitch in as a community to offer Ernesto some help and a break that he very much deserves from all his hard work.   [He is fully aware of the go fund me and we will keep you updated]  ------------------------------------------------------------------   Decidí crear un Go Fund Me para nuestro Paletero local al que muchos de nosotros admiramos debido a su edad y cual aun sigue trabajando para poner el pan de cada dia en la mesa de su familia.   Nunca deja de ir a la tienda de mi madre para ofrecerle sus deliciosas paletas, siempre sonriendo y hablando un poco sobre sí mismo.   Nos rompe nuestro corazón que no ha podido descansar como lo es necesario para el. Llegó hace 2 semanas hablando de cómo su salud se ha deteriorado y ahora está pagando las facturas del hospital. Tuvo 8 hijos con los que a veces habla por teléfono, pero dice que es muy raro, ninguno de ellos está presente en su vida. Aunque uno de ellos tiene 18 años y vive con él y su esposa, ellos dependen completamente de él.   Su nombre es Ernesto Sánchez, tiene 86 años de edad, nació en Ojinaga Chihuahua pero reside aquí en Amarillo Tx. A menudo vuelve a visitar a su esposa e hija que residen en Hidalgo de Parral Mx. Comentó que cuando vuelve a Mx, también trabaja en lo que sea.   Actuemos como una comunidad para ofrecerle a Ernesto algo de ayuda y un descanso que merece por su arduo trabajo.
