Pakistan Flood Appeal For your Help : URGENT

Bonjour, je m'appelle Patrick Botros,

Quand mon amie Rebecca Sehrish qui fait partie d'une organisation chrétienne aidant au quotidien à nourrir les gens et les familles au Pakistan, m'a parlé des inondations qui se produisent toujours sans relâche au quotidien depuis plus de 2 mois, et comment la situation est devenue extrêmement critique à un point où ils n'ont pas accès à de la nourriture sur une base régulière pour aider à nourrir les victimes des inondations... Je me suis inquiété non seulement pour sa sécurité, mais aussi pour la sécurité des nombreuses personnes qui dépendent de cette organisation.

Actuellement, les gens meurent de faim et de maladie, ils manquent de nombreuses ressources vitales et surtout d'argent pour acheter les ressources nécessaires pour aider les gens à survivre.

APERÇU DE LA SITUATION

La situation humanitaire au Pakistan s'est encore détériorée au cours des deux dernières semaines alors que de fortes pluies continuent de provoquer des inondations et des glissements de terrain entraînant des déplacements et des dégâts dans tout le pays. Soixante-six districts ont été officiellement déclarés « sinistrés » par le gouvernement pakistanais – 31 au Balouchistan, 23 au Sind, neuf au Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) et trois au Pendjab. La situation reste dynamique et de nombreux autres districts ont été touchés ; le nombre de districts déclarés calamités devrait augmenter à mesure que les pluies continuent de tomber.

À QUOI SERONT UTILISÉS LES FONDS ?

Les fonds seront utilisés pour fournir des secours et des secours immédiats, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter :

Tentes/bâches pour abris temporaires ;

Emballages alimentaires, y compris farine, lait en poudre, lentilles et légumineuses assorties, sachets d'huile, sucre et thé ;

Produits sanitaires;

Argent comptant pour le sauvetage et l'évacuation ; et Médicaments.

J'ai décidé de m'associer à Rebecca pour aider à passer le mot et à obtenir les fonds nécessaires pour aider son peuple à avoir accès aux fonds dont il a besoin pour littéralement survivre à cette crise.

Hi my name is Patrick Botros,

When my friend Rebecca sehrish who is part of a Christian organisation that help on a daily basis to feed people and families in Pakistan, told me about the floods that are still relentlessly happening on a daily basis for more thant 2 months and how the situation became extremely critical to a point where they don't have access to food on a regular basis to help feed the flood victims.... I became concerned not only for her safety, but also for the safety of the people depending on this organisation.

Currently, people are dying of starvation and sickness, they lack many vital ressources and specialy money to buy the needed ressources to help people survive.

SITUATION OVERVIEW

The humanitarian situation in Pakistan has deteriorated further over the past two weeks as heavy rains continue to cause flooding, and landslides resulting in displacement and damage across the country. Sixty-six districts have been officially declared to be ‘calamity hit’ by the Government of Pakistan – 31 in Balochistan, 23 in Sindh, nine in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and three in Punjab. The situation remains dynamic, and many more districts have been affected; the number of calamity-declared districts is expected to rise as rains continue to fall.

WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE UTILISED FOR?

The funds will be used to provide immediate relief and rescue, including but not limited to:

Tents/tarpaulins for temporary shelter;

Food packages, including flour, dry milk, assorted lentils and pulses, oil pouches, sugar, and tea;

Sanitary products;

Cash for rescue and evacuation; and Medicines.

I have decided to partner with Rebecca to help spread the word and get the funds needed to help her people to have access to the funds they need to literally survive this crisis.
