My Christmas Wish to Help One Small Business

Pajaro is no ordinary coffee shop.  All vegan hand crafted milks, organic coffees, teas, and my personal favorite, their signature mushroom horchata make this a perfectly unique Portland experience.  Glass mason jars stand in for paper cups and plastic lids (no deposit, just bring it back next time).  Rogelio and Lindsey have been offering up their vision of a low environmental impact, high quality product, with all the feeling of a warm hug business for the last year and a half, pretty much on a wing and prayer.  And it has worked.  They have steadily built a following of devoted customers  and converts.  But like many small businesses, the last several months have taken their toll.  I for one don't want this  oasis of delicious plant based goodness to be a casualty of this pandemic.  With just a little support from the community we can help Rogelio, Lindsey and adorable 3 year old Pablo stay afloat through this last rough patch of the slow down.  So if you  find yourself at the south end of the westside river front boardwalk, stop in for a sampling of their special brand of love in a cup, and take a little stroll along the banks of the Willamette.  You will not be sorry.  Thanks so much for whatever amount you can contribute.  All gratitude ~ Gail MacLennan
