Paisley’s Emergency

Sweet Paisley is a 1 year old golden/husky mix who has undergone 2 hip surgeries and an amputation all before the age of 1. Recently, we have began to notice her coughing a lot more than usual, having difficulties breathing and her bark sounds very hoarse and “broken” as we call it. After X-rays and physical exams, it has come to our attention she potentially has what’s called laryngeal paralysis which can only be 100% confirmed through a sedative exam and scope. As of this morning, her cough progressed and she had a high fever of 105.2. She currently is being stabilized at Banfield and will then be transferred to Blue Pearl Emergency Animal Hospital where we will see an internal medicine specialist to further run tests, procedures and treatment. Costs are very high for these procedures and tests and we want to do whatever it takes to help out Paisley. Please keep her in your prayers during all of this. She is by far the strongest pup we know and has gone through so much. We know she will overcome and get through any obstacle that gets in her way.
