We have started this GoFundMe in support of raising monetary donations to support women, men, children/babies and elderly living in a very poor community in Ibagué, Colombia. The residents of this community only rely on external and voluntary help to survive with no help from the government or local authorities. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the strict confinement measures taking place in Colombia, the nutrition and health situation of these people have deteriorated (barely one meal a day) leaving them limited support to count on. The healthier ones who were able to fend for themselves and their families can no longer bring food back under the current lock-down regulations. Now, they are confined with up to five people in tiny rooms struggling to meet their basic daily needs. As a result, the whole community is worried, stressed and begging for their basic needs such as food and drinkable water. Through PaiSano, our mission is to make a difference in the lives of those affected and less fortunate. We have now fed over a thousand families, which would not have been possible without the help of all your contributions and generous donations!
We have been helping for more than 5 years by sending cash contributions used to buy groceries, clothes, medical, dental assistance and social assistance as well as animal rescue and now because of your donations we feed more than 1,000 families in deep need, in places where it is so difficult to access:

But it doesn't stop here! We need continuous support during this pandemic to help raise awareness of their living conditions and can do so through your kind help to support these families whom are in massive need. Now is the time to make the difference, please assist in donating what you can! The fund will support families (5 members on average per family) to purchase basic needs such as:

- Milk, diapers and bread for children

- Groceries (rice, panela, flour, sugar, oil, beans, pasta, vegetable, potatoes, eggs, water, etc.)

- General medicine (paracetamol, etc.)

- Any other essential needs such as medical emergencies and some security supplies for the infected ones
