Paint the path for Bri's education.

Painting for me is a means of escape in a world that seems to be ruled by the mundane of the everyday task. Each piece of my art is a part of me because it once existed in my mind. I love working with vivid colors and contrasts, and i like catching people's eyes and inspiring questions. I find inspiration from all aspects of life, the insignificant and the surreal, the bland and the otherworldly. I paint because it gives people insight into the mind, it shows that the world isn’t just what you can see, hear, and feel, and i think that is a very powerful thing.
    Recently I was accepted into the Studio Art program at Western Washington University, unfortunatley I was not offered any grants or financial aid. Although I am working two jobs, there is just no way I can support myself financially in this endeavor. With this I am hoping to raise enough money for tuition, cost of living and any other fees.  Any amount donated is a step closer to a dream come true. 
    I hope to take the knowledge and experience I gain through this program and pursue teaching. I know that art is a powerful thing in this world and I hope to share with others how it can make an impact in their lives as it did with mine. Often creativity and imagination get dimmed from hearts and minds as we grow older, and I want to show that as we grow we don't have to let go of our wonder, but harness it and use it as a tool.
