Help Steven become pain free

Steven has been in & out of hospital for a period of approximately 14 months after suddenly experiencing acute episodes of pain during a family holiday last year.
After many scans, tests & consultations plus numerous hospital admissions the NHS medical team discovered that he had a celiac artery dissection but was told that with rest & time this would eventually heal & the pain would then subside. However sadly the extreme pain episodes continue even though the dissection has now healed. Steven has been sent home many times from hospital without anymore answers to why his extreme pain exists. This has been very upsetting for both him & his family who have had to watch him suffer for well over a year being constantly re- admitted & then discharged from hospital & having to go through lengthy waiting times in A&E every single time.
On his most recent admission to hospital, it has now been discovered 14 months later that he also has a gall bladder full of gallstones which is very likely to be the cause to his on going problems. This situation needs remedying very quickly so that Steven can then hopefully resume his normal life once again. As a family we hoped that due to the intense pain Steven has & is still going through that he would be operated on as soon as possible, however this is not the case & he could face continued & uncertain lengthy waiting times to get any further treatment, all the while having to be re-admitted each time to A&E (despite being prescribed painkillers) once the pain episodes are too unbearable to cope with them at home.
These pain episodes have severely affected Stevens ability to go about his daily life as usual, at present he is unable to proceed with his usual full time job or participate in everyday activities which is to be expected when you are unwell. However this has been on going for 14 months now & so finances are now being affected by this difficult situation. Steven is a husband to Marie & a father to three beautiful kids, who desperately want their Husband & Dad to become well once again. They have fought quite a battle to try to get Steven the care he rightly deserves, however options with the NHS are extremely limited now & we feel that we would like to help Steven get the treatment privately asap so he can resume his usual life.
We would like to raise £6,500 to cover the private costs to enable Steven to have the relevant consultation(s) & treatment to get him pain free as soon as possible.
