Pain Bakery Needs Your Help

Dear donater,

It's possible you may not know me, or it's possible you may know me by my bread, or it's possible we have met, and you most certainly know my bread. I am owner and baker of Pain Bakery.

Recently, and most unfortunately, a perfect storm of ill-timed events have presented themselves to me and my business putting my ability to continue serving bread to my dear eaters and public at serious risk. To be clear, I'm not really making any money personally doing this, as you might guess, there are overhead costs to operate; what you support is my ability to continue providing for and serving you. At this moment, I'm a one person operation, and there's only so much I alone can do.

What your immediate support and donations will serve to provide is the ability to hire and train more bakers, to grow and equip the new Pain Shop (in Oakland, come visit!), and provide a lifeline for the continued existence of this bakery and the health of this business. As well, in an intangible sense, that there's a community that exists to which I belong, that I would be happy to consider myself of.

To address those that have reached out to me in recent times as to my or my products absence: you may be feeling neglected, but you are most certainly not forgotten, it has been with a heavy heart that I have been unable to continue delivering to all of you. With your help, support, and donations, I may continue serving you again, and I'll be grateful to do so.
