Paige's journey through cancer

Hi, my name is Ian. Im 20 years old and live at home with my mother and younger brother (age 15). Within the past 6 months our lives have completely changed. On april 3rd 2017 my mother had recieved results of a CT scan of her abdoman, which she had gotten done due to pain in her stomach which had thought to have been stomach ulcers. CT scan revealed lesions on her liver suspicous of metestatic disease. Over the course of the next week, after enduring multiple tests, biopsies and scans she was diognosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The doctors informed us that she had probably been living with this disease for at least a year if not longer.. all the while she had continuosly been told it was stomach ulcers. The cancer had originated in the left breast and spread to the liver, bones and a 4mm lesion found in the brain. We immediatly began chemotharapy with future and soon to follow plans of radiation on the spot in brain. For anyone who has ever endured or seen a loved one go through the extensive emotional and physical dismantle that this treatment brings than you know just what im talking about. Its not an easy thing for any person to endure. Its also not a very cheap treatment. With that said shes currently on short term disability with long term to follow. Under the florida medical leave act she is currently recieving 60% of her prior 40 hour week paycheck. Although thats very helpful between only that and my paycheck its nearly impossible to keep up with our current living situation and other expenses let alone the many bills constantly coming through the mail. Anything and everything is much appreciated, including keeping my mother in your prayers. Please help her keep her head up and stress down through this tough battle she has been faced with. Thank you.
