Paige's surgery

Paige has severe scoliosis, and her surgery date was set for March 23.
The week before her surgery she had a sore throat, I took her to the doctor and he said he didn't think there was an infection and told us not to start the antibiotics unless they called with the results, even knowing that Paige was scheduled to have surgery.
Well we go the call on March 21 while traveling to Edmonton she did have a strep infection, we immediately started antibiotics but she wouldn't have been taking them long enough for it to be safe, her surgeon actually said she could die because of it. so surgery was postponed til April 20.
We got her pre-op stuff done, so it was not a completely wasted trip, but I'm going to have a hard time getting enough money together for another trip, and then 6 weeks after surgery we have to go back for a check-up as well.
I hate to ask for help, but we need help.
