Paige's Cancer Journey

It's hard finding the words to write this post so i'll start at the beginning...
Last year Paige received the worst news any 24 year old can receive. She was diagnosed with stage 3b cervical cancer with a limited chance of survival. After months of intense radiotherapy, chemotherapy and brachytherapy, we were all over the moon when we received the news that the cancer had gone. It was amazing to have our Paige back!! She was so strong and brave throughout the whole process.
Fast forward to now and after Paige being in a lot of pain for over a month, they found the cancer had returned. This was heartbreaking news for all her family and friends, especially Paige. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes in her neck, chest and stomach. Paige has been told the cancer is treatable but not curable. I can't even begin to put into words how this makes someone feel hearing that news or begin to understand how Paige must be feeling. Hope is not all lost as she has just commenced an aggressive course of chemo, so we are all staying positive and taking each day as it comes.
Paige has been in hospital now for over 2 weeks and we need to get her home and get her doing things she loves to do! This is the purpose of this post. Paige is the most active and outgoing person I know but unfortunately, she is now unable to earn money and her mum is her main carer so they have very limited income. We want to help support them financially and raise as much money as we can so we can make life long memories.
Paige has always been apart of our family so David Lindley, Andrew Bell and Richard Lindley are doing an 100 mile walk on the 7th September 2019 and are dedicating this walk to Paige. They will be starting his walk in Armroth in South Wales and will walk 100 miles of the coastal path (they must be mad). This is the first event of fundraising to support Paige and her mum on her cancer journey.
