Hi! I'm Russell Vanecek, the creator of the PADPAC. I have a passion for improving the way that kids use technology, so that they have a better learning and playtime experience!
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I began working full force on developing the PADPAC. The PADPAC is a product designed with parents and kids in mind to help children overcome the physical limitations of large tablet devices.
The PADPAC
Tablets are designed by and for adults, making it difficult for children to operate these devices without damaging them. In addition, parents are left with the burden and bulk of transporting their children's devices.
I knew these problems needed to be addressed with handheld devices becoming more prominent in the classroom and on the playground. The PADPAC allows children to take their favorite tablet anywhere, while maintaining stability and control.
The PADPAC children's tablet case (above) easily converts into a backpack, with detachable bungee cord straps that make the screen more accessible to smaller hands!
The PADPAC can also hang over the back of any headrest for use in the car, so kids can always learn and explore!
The Costs
After spending months developing and perfecting the first and only PADPAC prototype, we are ready for the next step! This is where we need YOUR help.
To get PADPAC to production and turn this dream into a reality, we need to raise $20,000. The money raised will go entirely towards making the first generation of PADPAC. With the money from this campaign we will be able to purchase an injection mold and cover initial manufacturing/production costs.
