We have created this GoFundMe campaign to help raise money to fund and support Padmamma’s metastatic cancer fight.
Padmamma, a fellow McLean County Resident, grew up in the rural village of Velvadam, India (near Mylavaram, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh).
As you can imagine, her sudden diagnosis presents a huge family burden, emotionally, physically and financially. Many of her family members have inquired how they can help her get through this, and we appreciate your support—in all forms, including giving hugs, sending positive thoughts and prayers, and providing financial assistance.
Treatment will be expensive, difficult, and lengthy. She needs your assistance during this time of need. Padmamma currently doesn’t have any medical insurance nor any family in US. She would prefer to go to India to see her family (daughter and grand kids) and continue her medication in India. To aid with these needs, we have created a GoFundMe campaign to serve two primary purposes.
#1. To help pay medical bills in US
#2. To cover transportation expenses to send her to India and cover part of her medical bills in India
