One day you are playing cricket. The next you have life changing news.
Our friend & neighbour Paddy Power had this news when he was told he had advanced stage of Bowel & Liver cancer.
When he told us he did so by text. Almost as a matter of fact. Not making a big deal of it, in fact he described it as a "bit of a bummer"
Paddy worked for himself. His Wife Ali, works for herself. They get little support from anyone other than government hand-outs. The children go to local schools in our area. The family go about their lives as normal as they possibly can while dealing with constant trips for treatment.
Last year Dan and Olly were determined to walk the Thames for Paddy. Unfortunately, a broken ankle for Dan during a training walk put pay to that.
However. This May we are going again.

We will be walking 184 miles in a week. Any thing you can give will help.
