Pacpaco/Jose Emergency Travel Fund

On Tuesday, August 21, our family received a phone call in Hawaii that our younger sister Rhyzza Mae was in a car accident in Las Vegas. Though doctors were able to stabilize her, she remains in the ICU, in critical condition. Hearing the news all the way from Hawaii, and not being able to be there physically, is the most devastating news our family has received. We felt helpless, especially our parents, having her thousands of miles away. Can you imagine? During the time of Rhyzza’s accident, Hurricane Lane was on a path towards Hawaii which delayed our Mom and Essen’s flight, before finally boarding and taking off. Luckily Caselyn was able to immediately fly from Colorado, the day after the accident to be with Rhyzza.
We are a family of 7. There’s our mom, dad, Reangelee, Caselyn, Essen then comes Rhyzza and brother Cedee. Our mom, dad & brother Cedee carry the last name Jose. The girls in our family Reangelee, Caselyn, Essen & Rhyzza all carry the last name Pacpaco. Rhyzza moved to Las Vegas about a year ago. Our parents, Reanglee and Cedee live on Oahu, Essen lives on Maui, and Caselyn lives in Colorado. Though we have relatives living in Las Vegas who care for Rhyzza, we feel one of us needs to be with her 24/7 as she continues her fight.
As you all know, traveling from Hawaii to the mainland is not cheap but we are doing our best to make arrangements so one of us will always be with Rhyzza. We need to be by Rhyzza’s side while she is in the ICU and we're hopeful our presence will help with her recovery. Along with the emotional strain and heartache, this will prove to be an immense financial challenge for us having to travel back and forth from Hawaii to Las Vegas. But our family is strong and we will rise to it.
We are truly grateful for the love & support from everyone! Thank you for your prayers, thoughts and well wishes for Rhyzza and our family! Our goal is to make sure Rhyzza know she is not alone and that we will continue to travel to be with her despite the distance, while pausing our lives for a moment.
We hope that you share this with your friends and family so we can be with Rhyzza! We ask that you help fund our travel expenses as we fly our parents and us siblings back and forth to be with Rhyzza. She has already made some improvement since Caselyn, Essen and our mom have been by her side taking turns sleeping in the ICU with her. Its all baby steps from here but we are grateful to experience the tiny bit of sign of improvement and for her to hear each of our voices.
We also ask that you continue to keep Rhyzza and our family in your prayers as we go through this difficult time. Our family is strong and absolutely blessed!
We the oldest sisters to Rhyzza (Reangelee, Caselyn & Essen) have come together to set up this gofundme account to help each of us with our travel expenses to get to my sister. All funds will be withdrawn by Essen and we will distribute the funds to each of us siblings & our parents. Our funds will be used to purchase round trip plane tickets for each of our family and also cover any accommodations needed while we are in Vegas such as food or car rental as we spend most of our days in the hospital. We plan to rotate traveling to Las Vegas to be by Rhyzza's side and continue to watch over her until she makes a full recovery.
