PAC, a non-profit performing arts center teaching music, theater and dance, needs help moving!
PAC must find an interim location, and will incur moving and storage expenses for pianos, costumes, and scenery.
The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) has been building and enriching the greater MetroWest community near Boston, MA, for 34 years, earning an outstanding reputation in performing arts instruction and production. PAC has educated and inspired over 6,000 students and entertained over 50,000 audience attendees to date. With high-quality music, theater, and dance instruction for people of all ages, especially youth, PAC is a vital cultural and artistic resource serving 15 towns in the MetroWest. PAC promotes, encourages, and nurtures the performing arts, and stimulates cultural and intellectual development, as well as the development of the human spirit.
PAC hopes to continue serving the community long into the future, but an immediate, temporary relocation has suddenly become urgent -- the Town of Framingham recently notified PAC that we, and all the other non-profits in our building, must vacate the premises by September 1, 2016.
This is a very unexpected and expensive endeavor to undertake. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 20, 2016 to accomplish the move.
Please consider a donation of any size to help PAC. Thank you for your consideration.
