Pack Horse - Storm Damage help
Donation protected
This fundraising campaign is to help a member of the Seaton Village (Cumbria) who has done an amazing amount of work in the local community. Not least of all through Covid and 2020.
David Adam is a good friend of mine along with a number of others in the Seaton village.
David Adam is the Landlord of the Seaton pub, The Pack Horse. Also referred to as Scots Dave, he is quite a character. Dave like many landlords has been hit hard by the Covid crisis but has never complained and continues to provide a safe environment for his patrons to relax, unwind and have a drink.

Not only has Dave been running his pub through this difficult time he has also supported the community by:
Delivering Food packages
Co-ordinating fund raising efforts for the NHS and local food banks
Preparing a outside environment for his patrons to relax in

Dave Spend the summer preparing the groundworks and erecting Gazebos so the local community could still have a drink and relax in a safe environment. Dave spent countless hours on this and made a tremendous effort:

On 31st October 2020 Cumbria felt the aftermath of Storm Aidan and all of Dave's hard work was damaged beyond repair:

This is Seaton's time to show some appreciation for Dave Adam's hard work and help him rebuild his outdoor drinking environment that we can all enjoy.
Please donate to this fundraising campaign to replace the Gazebos so all his hard work from the summer is not lost. Dave would never ask for this to be done for him as he believes in doing a lot of this himself. However noble that is, I feel Dave deserves a bit of support from the local community where we can all say a big thank you and help him repair the damage from the recent storm.
Please give whatever you can so we can all enjoy using these facilities when the better weather arrives.
Much appreciated
Neil
