Pablines fight with Heart failure

Donation protected

Brazilian,  have 2 children, lives in Queensland, Austrália.

In January 2017 She was diagnosed with virus cardiomyopathy and only had 2 weeks to live.

09/02/2017 Doctors decide on put in a LVAD artificial heart pump to keep her alive until she could get a heart transplant.

Her life changed completely, little things like going to the toilet was something she couldn't do alone. The heart pump needed to be plugged to the power 24/7.

A miracle happened. After 2 weeks at home on 28/03/2017 she received the great news that they found a new heart for Pabline. The heart was a perfect match and the transplant was done. 2 weeks in hospital.

The story didn't finish here, in the first the transplant Pabline was facing a level 2-heart rejection, 20% of patients don't survive the first 2 years due to rejection. So she needed lots of medications like Immunosuppressant drugs that are a class of drugs that suppress, or reduce, the strength of the body's immune system. Some of these drugs are used to make the body less likely to reject a transplanted organ, such as a liver, heart, or kidney. These drugs are called anti-rejection drugs) causing for Higher susceptibility to infection.
She spends more time at hospital than home because of it.

Her partner João Moreira had to look after their bills, the house and her 2 daughters. Taking care of Pabline was a big challenge; her daily care and hospital visits were part of the new routine. It became hard for him to work and eventually they start having financial problems.

Pabline's daughters were helping as much as they could, they still too young to take so much responsibility on their shoulders.

Not being able to manage her finance and her family, generated stress and anxiety making her recovery even harder.

They have been struggling on that situation for around 2 years and half having not much support to none.

2017 November and February this year (2019):  Pabline had a mini stroke that caused her memory loss and confusion affecting her speech.

2 and half years after the transplant, Pabline started to live a better lifestyle but one day she felt very tired and after seeing the doctor, they found another problem that would lead to another open heart surgery.
The new heart came with blockage and it needed a coronary bypass.
( after one year I had an angioplasty where they found multiple blockages and had to go on a wait list, for over a year being careful so she wouldn't have a heart attack)

12/09/2019: Pabline had a 3rd open heart surgery, giving her new scars, pain and new hard recovery path.

Pabline got into a deep depression. Life became way too hard for her.
Her mother had to fly from Brazil with financial support from donators to help Pabline while her husband João works to keep some income.

Without any government support, today her financial problems are getting way too big and are affecting her life, so she desperately needs help.

So we created this GoFundMe campaign that just got it updated to pass the message along on a clear and transparent way for supporters.
