PA Helping Houston

Hi, my name is Richard Keener. I am from Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and I am organzing this event because everyone knows someone, or knows someone who knows someone, affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. We personally know several families in the flood zone and they can all use our help.

Our goal is to fill the vehicles we have, a 3/4 ton cargo van and a trailer, plus any other vehicles we might require, full of necessities to help those in need.

We will be working directly with people and groups in the Houston area, inclincluding the Champion Forest Baptist Church in Northwest Houston. Your donations will be used to purchase items including bottled water, new socks and underwear, cleaning supplies, toiletries, non perishable food items, and other specific items included on their list.  

I will withdraw the funds from this campaign and use them to purchase goods at local retailers and in bulk online. Then the supplies will be delivered to the designated drop off point.

Thoughts and prayers are great, and I'm sure appreciated, but here's a chance to take actual action, and to show what a united country is capable of. So please give what you can.
