She found out on October 7 that she has stage 3 cervical cancer and has had several appointments since. <strong>She starts chemo and radiation this Monday, November 3, for 5 days a week for 5 weeks.</strong> After, she will do brachytherapy and then may qualify for immunotherapy. She will need a port put in for treatments. Her husband will be out of work for the first 5 weeks of treatment. They have a 2-year-old; she will be 3 on November 18. This has been a lot on our family, and we are doing the best we can. She will no longer be able to have any more children; this has been a big heartbreak for them as well.
