Support For Our Friend Jake Henry!X

I have set up this GoFundMe page so that all of us who wish to support Jake can contribute, be it a one off payment, or like myself, a monthly direct debit. I will be paying in £10.00 a month to this fund to help Jake with whatever he needs to enjoy life comfortably and I urge at least 25 - 50 of his friends to join me and set up the same monthly arrangement.
This is basically the cost of a bottle of wine a month - really nothing at all!
To be told that after 8 years undergoing chemo, that your cancer is not going away and that you now have likely under 18 months left is devastating.
Imagine this is you. Imagine realising that your financial position will mean that you can only really get by. You will get more unwell as the months pass. And you have very little time left.
If I were in Jakes shoes I would yearn so badly to make the most of the precious time I have. I would want to be able to jump in a cab as and when I need to get around. I would want to be warm and happy and content that I can get out and about as much as physically possible while my body still allows. I’m sure we all want Jake to really be able to enjoy all that he can and not have to worry about money.
As stated above I will be paying £10.00 a month in to this fund and if only 25 people will join me on the same then Jake can move around comfortably as much as he needs each month.
If 50 friends will join me then Jake can hopefully make some plans to warm his soul and enjoy some trips - maybe in the UK - Maybe a holiday in the Sun - to soak in as much joy and wonder and happiness as he can.
Jake has over 400 friends on FB. If only 50 of us can afford to set up £10.00 a month direct debit to this Go Fund Me I have set up for him then we can make sure that he does not go without anything in any way.
He is our friend and he should get up each day with his eccentric style and great big smile, feeling encased in love and warmth and making plans for as long as his body lets him.
No one should have money worries on top of their battle and I hope that this Go Fund Me will let our friend live however many days he has left with us to the absolute maximum.
