Covid-19 has affected us all. I am very fortunate. I am about to celebrate my 55th birthday, safe at home with my family, and for that I am so grateful. Many others face a more precarious existence - separated from family, financially insecure, or at great personal risk on the front lines.
The street kids rescued by Amani have always faced a precarious future. I know that there are many organizations in need during this global crisis, but Amani has always been close to my heart so I am launching this birthday fundraiser to support them with emergency relief funds.
As we shelter at home, safe and well fed, it is a reminder of how fortunate we are. Even the smallest donation is greatly appreciated by me and the kids of Amani. Asante Sana
