Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico

After the most catastrophic natural disaster to hit Puerto Rico, hurricane Maria- it has left a devastating and unprecedented amount of loss and a humanitarian crisis. I have not been excluded as this has drastically affected me and my family, close friends and the people of the island. At this time I have confirmed that my aunt (Carmen Guiets) has completely lost her home and other relatives have had major flooding and losses. There is still family that has not been able to communicate in remote parts of the island. The condition in where the island stands is one where there is no power and fuel leading to a crumbling healthcare system where hospitals are short of supply and many resources are not being expedited on time- effecting many people including one of my aunts (Theresa Guiets) who is ill with cancer. In many cases some folks will not have a way to rebuild for up to 6-10 months and that is simply in humane. I am gathering my own resources and that of my family and friends to help as best as possible. No donation is too small and any assistance would better their dire situation. If you cannot donate money but have donations in the way of canned foods/water, toiletries, clothes, etc. Clothes all ages and sizes. I will arrange to possibly pick them up (in the New York area where I Alfredo Ortiz resides) or supply drop off sites where to do so. I will be heading out to Puerto Rico as soon as I can to arrange the funds be used in obtaining supplies needed for rebuilding and medicines dispersed amongst love ones and those others that may be in need in those same communities.
