As many of you may know, my father, James "Jamie" Henson III, passed away back in December. His passing was a complete surprise. He passed away, peacefully, in his sleep. He was 43.

    My dad was known by many names throughout Delaware. James, Jamie, Jim, Jimmy, Henson, and Bubba, by a few. He was a good man. He loved his family, fishing and U.S. history. And music. He loved listening to music.

    My dad was fondly remembered by friends and family a week after his passing at his memorial service. While a good portion was paid at the time of his service, $1,775 remains on the bill. $1,5remains for his service and $275 for his urn. I can't get his urn until this is paid.

       If we go over the target goal, the money will be put towards putting his remains to rest as per his wishes. His urn is biodegradable and shaped like a seashell. It will disolve into the water and feed the fish. We will be putting his remains to rest at Indian River Inlet. This was his favorite place in the world. He loved to fish there. It is where he wanted his ashes scattered.

    I would like to thank everyone for their support in the months since his passing. It has been incredibly difficult and I cannot feasibly pay off his memorial expenses on my own in a reasonable time frame. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, everyone.
