Richard Hayes' Mobility Fund

Hello, friends of Rich!   My name is Michael Peterman and I am a friend of Richard Hayes.   As many of you know, Richard was in an accident several years ago that took his leg and most of his vision.  As a result, he is no longer able to drive a car or truck.  His key means of independent travel is his electric power chair.  This enables him to make short trips around town.   Recently, one of the motors has gone out on his chair and the wheels are also in bad shape.  The cost for repairs is $900 to $1000 dollars.  Because Rich is unable to work, he is on a very fixed income.  Please consider donating any amount to help Rich get his chair repaired.  I've set the goal higher, because there is a good chance that the other motor is in bad shape too and may soon go out.  If we reach the goal of $2000.00 (or more) it will enable him to get both motors replaced and/or have a good start on buying a totally new chair.

It would mean so very much to me and to Rich, to see this goal reached as soon as possible, in order to restore his "freedom" as quickly as possible.
