<div>Teddy was found living outside under a deck with a litter of 4 siblings. He weighed just 0.7 pounds when I found him. He and his littermates tested positive for several upper respiratory viruses but after several round of antibiotics, they improved. Three went to perfect forever homes, one being with Chris who has taken care of and loved Teddy for several months. He now tested positive for FIP, a dangerous mutation of feline coronavirus that is fatal if not treated. Chris has been doing everything he can to save Teddy’s life, and we all know how expensive and stressful that can be along with the heartache of having a sick pet. Full treatment is estimated to be around $4,000 with at least a weeks long ICU stay at the vet. When I first took Teddy to the vet, they told me he wouldn’t make it past a few days, but he already beat those odds, we just need a little support getting him over this next challenge.
