Medical Mission to Guatemala

To my family and friends,
I have volunteered to go to Guatemala (again) this upcoming March 2018 on a medical mission with my friends and colleagues. This trip is much needed to provide medical care to the most underserved men, women and mostly children in Guatemala's poorest areas. These people do not have access to medical care and depend on missions like ours for their health and well being.
I would like to ask you all, if you are able, to donate any amount for this trip which means so much to me and the people of Guatemala. They are in desperate need of basic medical care, and health education, to improve the health of the family and community. One by one I believe we can make a difference and I feel as a healthy privileged American, I have an obligation and a responsibility to help others when I can.
The money raised will help defer my costs for airfare, shuttles and groundcosts daily to clinic areas, my meals, and my hotel stay. Any money raised over what I need will be donated to the medical mission and used for buying medications or for transporting acutely ill patients from remote areas to the hospital in Guatemala City.
