Jay Needs Your Help

Jay Donnell Johnson needs your support to help with Medical Expenses and Housing costs. Jay was shot July 6, 2018 while attending his wife's family cookout with his wife and 2 daughters in York, PA. Caught in the crossfire of a drive by shooting, Jay sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his face, stomach, chest, spine, and both legs. Everyone who knows Jay, know this was not meant for him. Jay is a happy go lucky guy who loves to work and being with his wife and children. Jay still has 2 bullets in his spine which has left him paralyzed from the waist down. Along with losing part of his left lung, Jay also has a rod in his right leg because one of the bullets shattered his femur bone. At the time of this incident, Jay was supporting his family by working full time at Stanley Steamer. He absolutely loved his job and loved supporting his wife, Aniamonie and 2 daughters, Auh'jyah, 10 and Jordynn, 7. While in the hospital and then rehabilitation, Jay made exceptional strides in his recovery. Without your help Jay cannot afford to continue his therapy sessions which are needed multiple times a week. His recovery has been interrupted due to financial hardship. Jay's success in recovery depends on his ability to continue outpatient occupational and physical therapy which was scheduled minimally 3 times a week. Jay cannot continue getting the necessary therapy without your help. Also, he has to pay for medical supplies such as bed protectors and covers, wipes, and adult under garments. This does not include the cost of additional cleaning supplies needed in the home. Because of the constant care he needs, his wife had to stop working to care for him. Losing 2 incomes is a financial strain for my son and his wife. Although, Jay is grateful for the help he has received from his mother and other family members, there is still much more support needed. Please help us to help Jay to continue on his road to recovery with your contributions. The faster we can raise the funds, the faster he can begin his therapy again without additional loss of time or setbacks.
