The Cycledelics for Irish Refugee Council

Dia daoibh gach éinne! Heya everyone! Howiya getting on? Thank you so much for considering our charity! On the 24th August 2022, Luke 'Iron Glutes' Mannion, Stefano 'Gooch of Steel' Forte and Jack 'Golden Calves' Farrelly will set off on a journey from Bray to Bilbao (aprox. 2500km) by bicycle. Our route will hug the beautiful coastline of 5 countries outlined by the following checkpoints:

Bray-Rosslare-Fishguard-Plymouth-Roscoff-Bilbao.

This comes 2 years after a successful journey circumnavigating Ireland by bike, in the process 3601 euro was raised for the Irish Refugee Council; to all those who donated from myself and the Cycledelics crew, a huge 'THANK YOU' and a *big kiss on the lips* from all of us, yous are all incredible X

This year we have decided to keep our connection to the Irish Refugee Council, an independent charity supporting people seeking protection in Ireland. It is hugely important to us to be from a country that can support people in urgent need. Your money will help people seek protection from a country where it is no longer safe for them to live, and to those who have been given refugee status in Ireland. Support goes to a 'diverse community of people with so much to offer Irish society' (taken from their website https://www.irishrefugeecouncil.ie/). Donations will help support people and families seeking to flee their war-torn country from harm. In the current contextof the Russian invasion of Ukraine, donations are instrumental in the support Ukrainian families needing to seek refuge elsewhere. They also call for an end to Direct Provision.
