A message to our friends, family and the kind hearted. Tahisha and Anthony are going through a tough time. Both newly wed's health took an unfortunate turn for the worse in the past 2 years.

Anyone who knew the two of them knows that together and seperately they are people who are always helping, always supporting, always encouraging. The type of people who put others needs before their own.

2 years ago Anthony was in the process of starting a business, while at motor vehicle he passed out and was rushed to the hospital; he had a stroke. Anthony was someone who had healthy eating habits, and worked out everyday. That's when Tahisha and Anthony experienced this drastic life change. After extensive therapy Anthony returned home. Therapy continues til this day as there is some lingering hemiparesis.

In September, they got married and although it was rough they were making it. Anthony's health was slowly improving and Tahisha's Jewelry business "Selegence" was starting to grow. Life began to look up until approximately 2 weeks before Christmas.

Tahisha went to the doctors for a lump that she felt in her breast. After testing she learned that she has stage 2 aggressive cancer and that she would need to start chemo therapy immediately. At that time Tahisha asked her doctor if she could wait until after the holidays to began therapy and the doctor agreed. After the new year therapy began, Tahisha immediately changed her diet, as she lost her hair and was constantly in and out of the hospital in between chemotherapy sessions due to being dehydrated from vomiting and being unable to eat or keep food down.

From chemo therapy session to chemo therapy session she has been sick, weak, and although her and her husband support each other the best they can, their health has become somewhat of a hinderance. Tahisha was the only one working. Tahisha and Anthony’s medical expenses are continuously increasing, they are falling behind in their bills, and mortgage and struggling to keep their store open. We are asking for all who are willing to please help us as we try to take the burden off them so they do not have to worry about their finances while they try to pull through this difficult season.

Sincerely,
Anthony and Tahisha sisters; Deitrid, Chalimar, and Tia
