Extreme dental work needed

I am a father, grandfather, husband, real estate professional, and a proud veteran of the Vietnam era.  For health reasons, my teeth have either broken off or needed to be extracted, leaving me with roughly one-third the number of teeth I once had.  The effect this has had on my health is indescribable, and of course the effect on my self esteem and confidence is immeasurable.  As a result, my real estate business has taken a nose dive leaving my wife Debbie and me dependent on our modest government checks as our sole means of income.  This has been exacerbated by Debbie's mid stage Alzheimer's precluding her from doing any business either. She has tried to apply for a "regular" job, but there just don't seem to be any available for her right now.

I have visited three different dental practices over the course of the last year, and the estimates to restore me to "normal" dental health have ranged from $12,000 to $18,500, neither of which is a sum we would be able to pay ourselves.  So I am turning to my family, friends, colleagues, business associates, and neighbors to help me raise the amount of money that will allow me to chew food again without the constant pain of doing so.  My inability to eat properly has greatly affected my digestion and my overall health as well.  So, I am asking if you are able to help in any way, it would make my life so much better and help me cope with the other challenges of our lives as we continue to age, sometimes not so gracefully.  If you can help and do so, I am ever so grateful to you.  If you are not able to help at this time, I understand and hope that things improve for you also.
