Hello Family & Friends,
I will begin this with Praise.
Let me tell you about my God, My beautiful, kind and talented mother was in a horrible car accident a couple days ago where her car was totaled.
Yet, Mom opened her door and walked away from the thick smoking and leaking car, towards safety. The other driver drove towards the driver's side of the car, and as you can see in the photo, the driver's side was not even dented. That is the work of God - Amen!!!
The tragedy in this story is that her car or "The Little Toaster" as I called it, held sentimental value, a gift from her late husband. The beauty of my Mom/s heart is that she looked at the mangled car and said " God is Good!" I was able to walk away with Breath in my lungs, Gratitude in my Spirit and a Knowing in my Soul.
For those of you who know my mom, know that she has given up her life twice to care for others, her late husband for 5 years who suffered from ALS, she never left his side until his very last breath. Then soon after she care for my grandmother who suffered dementia and many other illnesses. My mom never once considered putting either of them in a home or having a nurse take care of them because she felt that was her calling.
My mom could barely pay rent or sometimes even buy groceries, but she NEVER complained.
Her Aura is vast and vibrant. "She has been the reason that many have felt welcomed, seen, heard, understood, valued, loved and supported." She is Loud, Opinionated, Funny & Walks in her truth. She has always been such a free- spirit that giving, and taking care of others is her mission. My family and I ask that for once she is the receiver of a gift. This is why I am reaching out to you all so we can all pitch in and get her a car so she can continue to help others.
My family understands that we are all going through changes and we honor each and everyone of you, because we believe that "When someone helps you and they are struggling too, that is not help. That is Love!" Thank You to Everyone for taking the time to read.
