Marcus Wienke Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Marcus Wienke was diagnosed with Leukemia in September 2013. At age 24, while most people his age were starting their careers, Marcus began a fight for his life. Over the course of the next year, Marcus went through several rounds of chemo radiation and treatments in New York. In October 2014, Marcus recieved a bone marrow transplant at Froedtert Hospital and Medical College. Marcus' biopsy of his transplant results came back negative for cancer and he was in remission. However, due to the intense amount of chemo his liver and kidneys were failing. Marcus received dialysis and other treatments to attempt to regain function of his liver and kidneys, but they failed to work. From the day Marcus was diagnosed until his last breath he remained a faithful Christian and never lost hope. Marcus fought this battle until the end with the support of family, friends, and God. Marcus was an inspiration to many people all over the country. Even while fighting cancer, Marcus had the ability to make others laugh and bring a smile to everyone's face. In honor of Marcus and the Wienke family, this fund is to help provide financial support for Marcus' memorial service and medical expenses.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 38-39
